Rates

 

Monday to Thursday (1 hour minimun charge)

 $85.00 per hour for a full size truck and 2 strong men. Standard travel charge for Auckland CBD and metro areas is $25.00. Standard travel charge areasfor all other within 25 mins drive from Auckland City Centre is $40.

Friday to Sunday (1.5 hour minimun charge)

 $95.00 per hour for a full size truck and 2 strong men. Standard travel charge for Auckland CBD and metro areas is $25.00. Standard travel charge areasfor all other within 25 mins drive from Auckland City Centre is $40.

 

Public Holiday (2 hour minimum)

 $115 per hour for a full size truck and 2 strong men. Standard travel charge for Auckland CBD and metro areas is $35.00. Standard travel charge areasfor all other within 25 mins drive from Auckland City Centre is $50.

Chargeable Time

Unlike most other removal companies, our chargeable time starts and finishes onsite rather than depot to depot. This basically means that the clock starts once the truck arrives at your loading site and finishes once the last box is dropped off at the unloading site.

 

Travel Charges

Travel Charges - are typically one off and charged to cover our travel costs such as diesel, road user charges, wages for the men while travelling, etc. Our standard travel charges start from $25 for CBD and metro areas, or $40 for most other areas within Auckland (which involve less than 25 mins of travel from City Centre). Charges will be higher where more travel is involved such as out of town moves. If in doubt, please ring us to clarify.

 

SURCHARGES:

Will apply where extra men are required, such as pianos and spas which are 3-4 men tasks. Pianos typically incur $125 surcharge for third man. Best to discuss/ negotiate this prior to move.

TIP - Having a third man can typically speed things up 30-50% whilst only costing a fraction of the standard rate. From our experience, having a third man ends up saving the customer money 9/10 times.

We can arrange additional men for larger domestic or commercial moves. Please call to discuss additional charges.

PACKAGING

Our professional packaging service is available on request. Standard charges are $40 per packer per hour. Cost of packaging materials will be additional. We recommend having at least 2 packers for up to 3 bedroom house.

We can also offer a fixed price packaging service to give you peace of mind. Please email or ring to arrange an onsite assessment for this.
